The mobile application “NoRotationPop” (hereinafter, “the App”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information and device data.
This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, whether it is shared with third parties, and how users can request data deletion.
1. Data We Collect
The App collects the following types of data:
(1) App-specific identifiers
To provide individualized support in the event of technical issues and to prevent unauthorized use of the App, the following device-based values are used to generate an anonymized identifier, which is then sent to the server:
- Android ID
- A unique UID generated within the App
- A hashed identifier (HMAC) generated from the values above
※ The HMAC is an encrypted, anonymized identifier and cannot be used to identify any individual user.
※ None of this data is linked to personal information such as your name, address, contact details, or any other personally identifiable data.
2. Purpose of Data Use
The collected identifiers are used solely for the following purposes:
- Providing individualized support when technical issues occur
- Determining eligibility for the 7-day free trial period
- Verifying purchase status (based on Google Play Billing purchase tokens)
- Preventing fraudulent or unauthorized use of the App
The App will not use this data for any purpose other than those listed above.
3. Data Retention
License-related data stored on the server is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above.
After that period, it is automatically deleted.
If a user submits a data deletion request, the App will process the request to the extent reasonably possible.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored using the following service:
- Google Firebase / Firestore (provided by Google LLC)
All data is securely stored in Google-managed data centers, and all communication is encrypted using HTTPS.
The App:
- Does not collect personal information such as names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses
- Does not sell, rent, or share data with any third party
5. Third-Party Sharing
The App does not share data with third parties except in the following cases:
- When required by law
- When Google requires technical access for system maintenance
- When necessary for purchase verification through Google Play Billing
In all cases, no personally identifiable information is handled.
6. In-App Purchases
Purchase information is managed by Google Play.
The App only accesses the following:
- Purchase token
- Purchase timestamp
- License status for refund verification and fraud prevention
This information is handled in accordance with Google Play policies, and the App accesses only the minimum information required.
7. Data Deletion Requests
If you wish to delete the data stored by the App, please submit a deletion request via the in-app contact form.
Once a deletion request is submitted, the anonymized identifier stored on the server (the HMAC generated from Android ID and UID) will be automatically deleted.
Deletion is processed immediately, and no data remains that could identify an individual user.
8. Advertising
The App does not display advertisements.
It also does not collect any advertising-related identifiers such as the Advertising ID.
9. Server Logs
Firebase may automatically record basic access logs.
These logs are used solely for fraud prevention and troubleshooting purposes.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated as needed.
When important changes are made, notification will be provided in the App or on the website.
